A letter about COVID-19 from Palm Beach Harley-Davidson Owner, Paul Veracka
WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA – Palm Beach Harley-Davidson owner, Paul Veracka, General Manager Geno DeMauro, and the rest of our leadership team considers our Teams and Guests one big H-D family. As a family, we have always worked together towards one mission, “To fulfill dreams by delivering a premium customer experience, creating customers for life.”
There’s a lot of talk in the news creating concern and fear. Will certain aspects of our daily life be impacted in the short-term? Yes. While COVID-19 is to be taken seriously, we’re optimistic small sacrifices for the greater good of the community will help keep our loved ones safe, especially those in more vulnerable groups.
Palm Beach Harley-Davidson’s team will continue to work with leadership and local health authorities to adjust event planning and dealership operations as needed to keep our teams, visitors, and community safe. We consistently follow health codes and permit requirements, which require sanitation, proper hygiene, and cleanliness as a normal course of business. You can help us by being extra diligent in washing your hands often, covering coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue, and the good old fashioned standby of staying home if you feel sick.
All team members were sent information on March 13, 2020, from Human Resources in regards to additional sanitation procedures and sick leave. We are monitoring this situation daily, and, as we do with any unusual event, such as an extreme weather event, we will watch what’s happening locally and adjust business operations and policies as needed to do our best to keep everyone safe.
While we will postpone larger-scale events that we anticipate will draw large crowds per guidance from local health authorities, Palm Beach Harley-Davidson’s team is here and will continue normal hours of operation and smaller events will continue. We will strive to host a chill, welcoming environment that is an escape from the stress of daily life. Motorcycles are fun and we want everyone to know Palm Beach Harley-Davidson is a safe, sanitary bike shop where you can kick back and leave worries behind.
As Americans, it is our duty to stay calm, be kind, and enjoy freedom. United We Roll.
